Bantleon and the soccer team “the Sparrows” from Ulm achieve a donation of EUR 1,846 for the next generation of players
In the course of the annual company run, Hermann Bantleon GmbH worked together with the professionals of the Ulm soccer team. The regional league players took part in the virtual company run and Bantleon awarded them with one euro per run kilometre, which they would use for their junior team.
The sparrows ran over 1,800 kilometres during the campaign period. To the sparrows' delight, Hermann Bantleon GmbH decided to round up the donation to a symbolic EUR 1,846. Rainer Janz, divisional manager of Herman Bantleon GmbH, handed over the donation to junior manager Dieter Märkle on behalf of Bantleon.
"We are pleased to have created an additional incentive to participate with the Challenge. The boys put their foot down and in turn showed a high sense of responsibility for their own young talent. The team showed real strength of character," said Rainer Janz.
Dieter Märkle: "We are very happy about this extraordinary and creative support from Bantleon, which has been supporting our young talents for many years."
The entire first team of the footballers is also grateful for this great support. SSV co-captain Jo Reichert: "A great thing! In return we would like to invite the Bantleon employees to the Donaustadion next season".
