Pastor Ignatius again a guest at Bantleon
After two years of Corona travel ban, Pastor Ignatius was back in Germany for a visit. A flying visit to BANTLEON, including a short presentation of what has been done in the recent past, was not to be missed. Despite the Corona crisis, the priest was able to make a difference on site. The focus of the projects is on education and training, i.e. the construction, maintenance and concepts for kindergartens and schools.
Of course, Managing Director Dr. Alexander German did not leave the clergyman from Uganda empty-handed. Bantleon IT manager Alexander Bunk handed over various hardware, and Father Ignatius also received mobile solar panels to supply power to small residential units. Among other things, these will help to ensure that necessary home work for the livelihood or even the children's studies are possible in the dark. Dr. Alexander German: "We are pleased to be part of this sustainable education-focused project and thank Father Ignatius for his work on the ground."
