PAO-based hydraulic oils for sustainable lubricant concepts, even in environmentally sensitive areas

AVIA Syntofluid PE-B: A sustainable product solution

In 2010, Knoll GmbH & Co. KG, in close cooperation with us, decided to take a pioneering step: to switch to our PAO-based, biodegradable oil, AVIA Syntofluid PE-B, for use in hydraulic engineering. This decision was driven by the need to operate in environmentally sensitive areas such as the Wadden Sea National Park and its fragile ecosystems. Our answer was a product that fulfils the highest performance requirements, is highly compatible with machines, components and elastomers, and has a reduced environmental impact/risk. The AVIA Syntofluid PE-B product has provided proof of this by fulfilling the product-specific requirements of DEKRA-PSR (Product-Specific Rules (PSR) - DEKRA), among other things. In addition to biodegradability, these include aspects such as fuel economy, ecotoxicity and plant growth.

The choice of AVIA Syntofluid PE-B is not only a testimony to the trust placed in our products, but also an example of the close partnership between us and our customers. Through regular oil analyses and joint evaluations, we have developed a comprehensive understanding of the specific requirements in the context of hydraulic oil, application environment and machine.
