Medtec Product Qualification

 

The two high-performance cooling lubricants, METACOOL SQ-M 301 and METACON SQ-M 610, have been tested by GBA Medical Device Services GmbH and found to be non-cytotoxic (< 30% growth inhibition) according to DIN EN ISO 10993-5/-12, and have already been used in various manufacturing processes.

 

METACOOL SQ-M 301 is a mineral oil-based, water-miscible cooling lubricant with an ester component, whose boron-free technology ensures optimal manufacturing results when machining aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium.

 

METACON SQ-M 610 covers a wide range of applications, from the machining of alloyed steels to all non-ferrous and light metals, ensuring high cutting performance and excellent surface quality. The medium can also be used as a forming and stamping oil for chipless metal processing in various applications.
